| A refreshing soft drink produced from the roots of the Sarsparilla plant, which has been produced by Baldwins since 1844.
The name Sarsaparilla comes from the Spanish word Zaraza (meaning bramble) and 'parilla' meaning a vine. It is a woody plant which can reach heights of up to 50m; and produces black, red or blue flowers. It is widely drunk in the Caribbean. Dilute one part concentrate with 4 parts of water.
Ingredients:
Water, sugar, colour (sulphite ammonia caramel), citric acid, acetic acid, flavouring, preservative (sodium benzoate), sweetener (sodium saccharin), sarsaparilla.
