| A Jamaican style dough mix used for preparing fried dumplings.
The name 'festival' may have been created by a local fisherman from Braeton St Catherine Jamaica. It is said that he named his fried pastry creation 'festival', because his dumplings are as nice as being at a festival.
Festival dumplings are sausage shaped and are traditionally served with fried fish at Hellshire beach Kingston Jamaica.
